stove rocks but you can only put in a range. You can't tell it he has the part of his range 40 percent of the time and that part of his range 60 percent of the time.

Ok i have tptk on the flop and villain donks into me. From reviewing his db i know that he has a set 30 percent of the time and over pair 50 percent of the time and air 20 percent of the time. Whats my equity ?

say we have the nutflush draw on the turn and villain bets We suspect he has a set 50 percent of the time and something else the other 50 percent. but lets assume our flush if we hit will always win on a non paired board and win 50% of the time on a paired board.

P=1
b+1
s=1
we wil river our flush 17 percent of the time but the board will pair 21percent of the time
.17x.20 =.034 but he only hits a boat 50 percent of the time=.017 so our flush when it hits will win 15.3 ...

money that doesn't sound accurate at all because it doesn't factor in our chances of sucking out. Just because i'm behind 100 percent of the time doesn't mean my equity is 0. I agree with smot that the situation i gave is a fold as he has me crushed 80 percent of the time i was just throwing an example out their to get my point across.

questionabout tournaments at stars 7/24/2010 8:14:08 AM   (Total replies: 1)
Don't really play many tournaments but i just played a 1+.10 I finished the money but i didn't see a screen pop up that said i won X amount. Just a screen saying i finished in 396th place. To 400+ paid. I only won like 2 bucks so i wouldn't notice it in my balance. I wouldn't even care but i just want to know how there tourny payouts work.

ok guys after getting some help i can now figure out my over all equity if i know my EQ in seperate situations. IE my eq is 35 percent 80 percent of the time and 70 percent 20 percent of the time. My over all eq is 42 percent atleast i think that's right.
.35x.80= 28
.70x.20=14

28%+14%=42

sounds awesome assuming that your legit and not a scam artist. Don't mean to be insulting but ive never heard of your site before. I may deposit a few bucks though. Quick question can i have my winnings deposited back into my stars account?

sorry guys this
.35x.80= 28
.70x.20=14

28%+14%=42

is separate from my my original post and is just a quick way to figure out you eq if you know how often a player has different parts of their range. So yea the numbers will not match up with the original post. I suck at the algebra so i'll have to go the long route but lets say we are at the turn with a flush draw that will always win if it hits.We also know that we are 35% against his calling range half the time and ...
