Rebuy tournament strategy for Stars

Stars has a 1 hour late registration for MTT's. It occured to me that I could enter a rebuy tourney at minute 59, do one rebuy and get the add on and be in the middle of the pack without playing a single hand. On top of all of that I have saved myself an hour of risk of rebuys and playing time.
I have done this twice so far, one cash and one bust out. |

yeah, i called him a pest when we were at the same table in a tourney in his beginnings. i knocked him out at that time.
nice going for him. he is going to have to pay taxes now. i warned him about that. |

| It just goes to show if you put your mind to something and really practice at it you can do anything. His winnings are his reward for all of his hard work. He has had more money confiscated from his under age accounts than most of us have ever won. |

The ones I played had a 3K start & rebuy and 6K add on. Not too bad go be at 12K after the first hour with no risk.
Also, You know the aprox. payout when you go in. |

Got a read on a guy after 40 hands he is a weak A player and is 50% hands played and nearly that for pf raising and c-bets so I call his pf raise with AJo and I hit an A on the flop.
I figure him to be a weak A so I just call along and he pushes on the river only to turn over QQ! Wow, did I read that wrong but his play pushed me to play that hand against him and it paid off. If a Q had been there I would have gone with it also. Oh well, like the boy who cried wolf I guess. |

double or nothing sngs on stars, anyone play these?

| I have been playing the turbo $5 DON SNG's and they are pretty simple to cash in on. Has anyone played any higher? I find that most try not to go out rather than actually win so it only takes a few hands to build a stack. On average I play about 6% of my hands in this format. |

| A while back I looked him up on the poker db and he was doing 85K a week at stars alone. That was when he was under age. Now that is winnings only but what the hell, not too bad? |
