| Hey guys so I just got back into poker after like a one year hiatus. I am wondering if much changed since then. I used to play Absolute because they have such a great reload program, but now the checks cost 8$ and that's the only way I can withdraw. What are people's opinions on which poker site is the best for American players? I usually play Holdem 0.5$/1$ NL. |

Ok so 25$ NL 0.10/0.25 blinds. I have AK and raise it to a dollar. A guy to the right of me calls. The flop was KQ and something else that doesnt really matter. I raise $2 and kept raising the pot until the river with my top pair and the guy just kept calling and reraised me all in for like 10$ on the river. I called figuring that I am pretty much pot committed because I already put in around $15 and the pot is like $34. The other guy shows QQ and I lose all my money.

| Dude your story sounds just like mine. I lost 75% of my bankroll over two nights. I play 25$ NL as well and lost 25$ twice to sets. I got mad so I went into the $100 NL tables to try and get my money back. I won 50$ and was happy and then I got AA and lost to a set of 7s. all 150$ gone... It sucks:( sometimes I get the feeling poker sites mess with the cards to produce more action. |
