Sounds like your glass is half empty. Better late than never.
Would you rather this update read: US DOJ seizes all monies because poker linked to terrorism? What would your reaction be then?

Ever since the patroit act any department in government can do WHATEVER THEY WANT if they include the word terrorism.

Wake up. Write your rep today.

Sorry if i came across as snooty, but I just don't see how someone with money tied up could see this as bad news. My question about your reaction if our money was siezed was a serious one.

My comment about writing Reps was not directed at you, I was just re-stating my main point in this thread.

Re: UB + Absolute merger 4/15/2007 8:04:08 PM   (Total replies: 0)
I don't think they are merging players. All I know are basilcy rumors, but I dont think either site will be leaving USA.

I heard they didn't fire any pros they are just not doing any U.S. avertising with them.

Re: AP cashout via snail mail check 10/22/2007 11:11:51 PM   (Total replies: 0)
AP cashout by check Is great! It used to take 2 weeks, but the last one i got arrived in under a week. I've never had any problems whatsoever and ive used check withdrawl a lot over the past year mosty between ammounts of 300-1000.

I think they may be starting to charge a fee even for standard handling.

Re: Played correctly? 10/23/2007 12:00:57 AM   (Total replies: 0)
you had at 7-9 outs to beat a flush, and all very live. The pot was huge at that point- those are the two important considerations. You clearly have pot odds here, and folding would be a huge mistake.

consider what would happen if someone hits a small boat on 7th... those dream scenarios dont happen often, but you should be angling to be on the right side of them.... example folding your straight draw when there are possible flush draws, foling underpairs, etc.
