$30k lead in that situation is nothing. If I was one of the other players I wouldn't have been scared of you because of that alone. $250k vs $20k - now thats a different matter.
I'm not an expert at MTT's but it seems to me the trick is to get to the final table regularly. Once you are there, relax, have fun and be prepared to gamble and lose. If you are timid you will be eaten alive.
One experience I do have is that final tables tend to be power all the way. Forget clever ... |

I reckon I could make more that way than I do by playing! How many MTT's are you entering to win this regularly?
Sounds like you have it right at the moment - whatever you do, don't start thinking about it too much at this stage. Keep doing what you do until it stops working and analyse it then. |

Fred - bring back the Bet365 freeroll ... if you couldn't make money in that the first few months there was something wrong!
Brad - I'm pretty sure I remember when Casie first started playing. Quite a ride from there to losing $2800 in a day. :-)
I still remember my first time going on tilt at VC Poker, going up to 25c/50c limit and seeing my first $5 pot. Unsurprisingly I didn't win it ... |

Don't wait for a mail about AP bonuses - they are a little hit and miss.
As far as I can see there is a bonus pretty much every weekend - I can't remember which tab it is on, but there is a "Current Bonuses" option in the Lobby. I always check there before I reload and there has always been either a normal or a VIP bonus. |

Papers etc. just love a story without sharing a love for accurate or complete information.
There is no way a juvenile got 5 years for stealing an ice-cream bar, period. There is no way that Smot got a cusodial sentence for possessing normal pornagraphic material, as a first time offender, even if the girls were underage.
Aggravated indecent assault, to the best of my knowledge, can only be done in person and not via computer.

I never thought he was a Donk. If he'd taken nothing to $10k plus once, you might think it was random luck and an aggressive style, but he did it what 3 or 4 times in 2 years. If he'd stayed at a sensible limit he'd still have the money in his pocket now, but would he have learnt to be the player he is? I doubt it. He took risks, he learnt and he acknowledged no ceilings to where his ability could go to. Gotta admire that.
