Royal Vegas Poker $10 No Deposit Bonus! 9/26/2003 11:26:17 AM   (Total replies: 11)
Royal Vegas no longer offers $10 free.  However, there are many other sites that do.  For a good starting point, check our No Deposit Poker List.  I'm leaving this post up for the moment for sentimental reasons.  The Royal Vegas $10 no deposit was my starting point, and I've made thousands of $$ from this hobby ever since.
Royal Vegas Poker is a member of the Prima Poker Network, and boasts ...

Hello Matthew,

I started at the .50/$1 7 stud tables, and am still there.  Though there are at times 65-70 stud players on, it is pretty rare to see a table at the $1/$2 or above.  Whats funny is I can average $800 a month playing those low limits...

If you're playing holdem, I'd take Bozzie's advice and start as low as possible and play limit.  Short stacks get hosed in no limit, and you want to be able to see as many hands as possible with your $10, as ...

I think I know what your problem is.  I used the same nickname at both Lucky Nugget and Royal Vegas.  Are you trying to register different nicks?  Just stay with the same nickname and it should work fine.  At least it did for me...

All of those rooms are “prima poker rooms” and though the tables have different logos, the players and games are the same.  They're all on the same network.

But yeah, if you haven't already, sign up and select ...

Nice job building off the $10. :)

Crazy Poker is the only other prima room that does a no deposit $10 bonus that I can think of.

If you hear of more, let me know, as we'll put them on our No Deposit Bonus page.

Re: Absolute Bonuses and A Question of General Absolute Bonus Whoring 4/28/2008 2:36:02 PM   (Total replies: 1)

I'm in the same boat.  Waiting on a reload to hit up AP again.  They used to do a reload every week to two weeks.  It shouldn't be long.

FYI - it is indeed a good idea to bank some $$ so that you can hit the reloads at AP.  It's one of the few sites that don't deduct bonuses from rakeback.  If you're playing 2/4 and 3/6, you'll clear their bonuses fairly easily.

Absolute has traditionally had one of the most regular reload bonus schedules online.

Ash, thanks for that tip.  I haven't been getting many reload emails, but checked yesterday and sure enough there was a “LASTDAY” bonus only good for April 30th.  20% up to $200 for VIPs and 20% up to $150 for everyone else.

I hit it up last night and am playing for bonus today. :)

Again, ty for that tip...  wouldn't have got that bonus otherwise!

At AP you only get credit for a AP point if the rake is .50 or more.  That means you need to play tables with a $10 pot average to clear the bonuses with any speed.

Each time your are in a pot that hits $10 and 50 cents rake is taken, you earn a point.  Every 30 points releases $5 in bonus.  I am able to release the bonus easily enough playing mainly 1/2 stud.

Important : you must see the flop to earn a point!  This is the worst feature about ...

I think the bonus release is probably very close to the same.

The big difference is that Absolute does not deduct bonuses from gross rake, while Ultimate Bet does.  That's....huge.

Let's say you clear $300/month in bonuses.  That would be $90 in rakeback that you would make at Absolute that you would NOT make at Ultimate Bet.

IMO the clear advantage is playing through Absolute Poker right now.   Oh, and on AP, tourney fees count as rake.  At ...
