what skill level do you need
and what is it about the skill level thats so different than say 50NL or 25NL
is paying attention more important? can you still be 6 tabling at 400NL |

| A lot of the really good regs at mid stakes games multi-table quite a bit. I've watched a lot of videos where they will be recording 6 tables and have others on another monitor out of view. All the while they're discussing the hands being recorded fairly in depth. I don't know how they do it. |

actually money, i find that when i talk through my sessions as i play them it makes me play better. i record most of my sessions(for my own viewing only, i dont upload them anywhere), though i talk through the video as if i was uploading it somewhere that other people would be watching it. even if i never watch the video again i feel like just talking about my thought process in all situations, even to the hands i fold preflop, helps me keep focused.
i can only play my best when i max 6 table, so thats all i do. if someone can normally play say 12 tables, it would make perfect sense, at least to me, that they can commentate on 12 tables. its just verbalizing everything that you are thinking, so i dont really think its anything that special. if your brain can keep up with 12, your mouth can keep up with 12. at least thats the way i see it.

| I do the same thing sometimes, talk through my sessions out loud. It forces you to think through each decision and state why you're doing this or that. But I couldn't keep up past 6 tables. |

Ranges tend to be a lot wider from the good players at mid/high stakes.
To crush micros you need to be able to 3bet light, cbet accurately, and pick good barrel spots
To just beat mid/high stakes you need to be able to counter the above and more
And 6 tables isn't all that much imo. You would have plenty of time to think through decisions. Finding 6 profitable seats at 400NL, on the other hand, would be quite a chore. |
