Full Tilt moving to Weighted Contributed Rake Method

Important heads up!
As of October 2010, Full Tilt Poker is changing to Weighted Contributed rake calculation method as opposed to "Dealt". Not a great change for the typical tight aggressive player.
Weighted contributed is simple enough. If you contribute 20% of the total in the pot, you get credit for 20% of the rake.
Previously, you just had to be dealt cards to get an equal rake share. For a tight aggro at a full table, playing less than 20% of hands, this was great. It's nice to get rake credit on the 80% of dealt hands that you fold.
I can't think of a top tier USA facing site that still uses dealt method. Full Tilt was probably the last one. |
