I played that hand all kinds of horrible. My line couldn't be anymore odd. Fortunately he must have put me on something like QQ/JJ.

Disagree that this is horrible/lucky play. When you've really got nutty hands like this it's tough for them to have a decent hand to go up against you since you card remove most of the combos that they're likely to get it in with. It's hard to milk much money from someone when they're going to have a mediocre hand at best. I doubt very much that he thinks you're overplaying QQ/JJ here, if those hands are even in the range he's given you it's because he thinks you've turned them into a bluff. He wouldn't stack off otherwise I'm pretty sure.

Better to play it fishily and hope they decide you're bluffing cos then you can win all the monies. Mostly they'll fold their crap hand or call a small bet on one street, but this way you get a chance to take all the money. I mean, when you get a really nut hand, mostly, they won't have anything at all to call it with. The typical percentage play squeezing valuebet won't get you anywhere. I think it makes sense because to call a strong straightforward line means you need to have a good hand; but if you think they're bluffing you only need to just beat their range enough of the time.

Ofc, this assumes that people think you capable of ridiculous bluffs that look like this or that you've got under their skin and steal pots from them all the time. If you play a bit more of a measured game then this might not work I spose - but I have no experience with playing a measured game  Smile  haha.
