Step 1:  Download mIRC by clicking HERE (choose "Run" when prompted)

Step 2:  The Installation of mIRC will begin.  Click 'Next' when prompted, and then 'Yes', and then 'Install' and then finally, 'Finish'

Step 3:  Run the program by going to Start-->Programs-->mIRC-->mIRC32

Step 4:  You'll be prompted with the image below.  uncheck the box in the lower left corner (so it doesnt bug you every time you run it), and then close this introduction window by clicking the 'X'.

Step 5:  Fill out the three highlighted fields in the image below. The required items are "Full Name", "E-mail Address" and "Nickname". After filled out, hit the "OK" button.

Step 6:  Click this link:  Poker-strategy Chat .   In the future, this link is also located at the top of the Forums page.  After you click this link, mIRC will automatically connect to our IRC server, and join #poker-strategy - which is the channel we have registered.  Once in, you should see a few users on the right hand of your mIRC screen

I just wanted to bump this thread a year later.  If you're playing in the heads up league, the live chat will aid greatly in meeting, scheduling your event.

My nick there is Emmanuel.  This chat used to be pretty bustling, though it's slowed down a good bit since Brad and Casie haven't been around much.  Still, eight ppl logged in as I'm typing this, either chatting or idling.

I idle in there 24-7.

Holy cow.  Brad and Casie start playing poker again and the chat room fills again.  We gotta start paying them something!
